THE GREAT COMMISSION



 In 2011 I posted the following:

The day of May 21st, 2011 has come and gone, and no Rapture took place as predicted.  And as well, December 21st, 2012 has come and gone, and the world did not end.

Does that mean that it won't happen at all? Just because a man predicted that it would happen on a particular day, and it didn't, does that mean that Jesus is not returning at all?

What exactly does Jesus say about His return?

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of Heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the good man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." Matthew 24:36-44

Jesus said Himself that no one knows the day or the hour, so to put a day and time on His return is in error.

Know that He IS coming...the signs are all around us.

And as Jesus said, "Be ready." To be left behind will be an unimaginable tragedy.

Until then, live your lives for Him, and let the world know that Jesus saves! He gave His life for them, and is not willing that any should perish.

The mere fact that He has not come yet testifies to His great patience and love.

We are still here!

Jesus is still expected to come for us at any minute! Why are we still here?

After His Resurrection, He gave His disciples (and us) this Commission (Assignment):

Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Matthew 28:18-20

I don't know about you, but something tells me that we have not completed our Assignment! Yes, there are some who are working on it, but are we, as His children, individually reaching out to a lost and dying world? Remember, we have been warned:

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.

2 Peter 3:10-11

Are we holding Him back by sitting and expectantly watching, while others are losing their souls?

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever. Amen.

2 Peter 3:14, 17-18

Remember...

He is not willing that any should perish! Work, while we still have time...tell others!

    Amen we are to keep giving of ourselves. Pray seek who we can lead to Jesus! Give a prayer to a stranger , Be busy about OUR FATHERS Business . What a honor

Peace, Be Still

  You may have heard about the huge storm that has been affecting the U.S. recently. It is covering an area that spans from the East Coast to the West Coast! As it moved southward, the Southern part of California began to feel the fury of this storm.  It began with lots of rain. Flood Alerts, Wind Alerts, and even Snow Alerts with Blizzard Warnings were issued. This is pretty much unheard of in our area. The first day it started raining off and on, heavy at times, but nothing really unusual. On Day 2, we saw more consistent rain, but still not that much out of the ordinary, with winds blowing off and on. I went to take the trash out on Day 1, as it was supposed to be worse the next day. As I neared the trash dumpster the wind starting picking up. By the time I got to the dumpster it was blowing my clothing so violently, that I almost had  my dress  blowing up in my face! I wondered how I was going to manage my clothing while I was lifting the large trash bag up above...

From Riches to Rags, to RICHES IN GLORY!

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a Very Joyous Christmas! What would our life be like if Jesus never came to earth to rescue us? We would be at the mercy of our Biblical enemy...who has no mercy. But He did come to rescue us, with the blessing of Father God! He overcame death, hell and the grave...and shall reign as King of kings & Lord of lords, forever!  He came to us born in poverty...in a stable, not a palace. He left the glory of Heaven to live in poverty and die a criminal's death...for us. Is it too much to ask that we would thank Him and accept this gift from Him? THE RAPTURE - ARE YOU READY?

I don't know of anyone, who is a true Christian, that isn't looking forward to the Rapture! As this world grows darker, our hope of Jesus rescuing us from the horrors to come grows even stronger. We wait, wondering how much longer we can endure all of this. But what if I told you that there could be a chance that you might be 'left behind' because of something you have neglected? You might scoff, saying that once saved, always saved...right? This morning, as I was waking up from a great sleep last night, a scripture popped in my head.
