Peace, Be Still
You may have heard about the huge storm that has been affecting the U.S. recently. It is covering an area that spans from the East Coast to the West Coast! As it moved southward, the Southern part of California began to feel the fury of this storm. It began with lots of rain. Flood Alerts, Wind Alerts, and even Snow Alerts with Blizzard Warnings were issued. This is pretty much unheard of in our area. The first day it started raining off and on, heavy at times, but nothing really unusual. On Day 2, we saw more consistent rain, but still not that much out of the ordinary, with winds blowing off and on. I went to take the trash out on Day 1, as it was supposed to be worse the next day. As I neared the trash dumpster the wind starting picking up. By the time I got to the dumpster it was blowing my clothing so violently, that I almost had my dress blowing up in my face! I wondered how I was going to manage my clothing while I was lifting the large trash bag up above...
